Bridge

roosevelt-lake-bridge-small3It was just a game.. and I had to write a small poem with the word ‘Bridge’. When I was done I thought I can paste it here ;P

Bridge the distance of hatred with love
Bring to the patrons of war a dove
Bridge the crack of indifference with smiles
Smashing those rocks of selfish wiles
Bridge your way to the lesser blessed
They are but the Lord’s conscience tests

Β
Bridge the void between heaven and earth
As you forgo your pleasures for others mirth

  1. The Sun was dying and with myself I was playing bridge
Enjoying the bite of the tiny midge
For a minute i thought i had everything in life
all those materials to live without strife

Soon I realized i was an ace
with not a loving soul to embrace
I Knew for long I was a dark spade
under this smiling face I did masquerade
Whats the point in having loving hearts
when they dont fit into my puzzle’s missing parts
Finally I dealt another hand with a clover
forgetting all those things to mullover.

Well this is what happens if you encourage some dreadful poets to write :)…dont do this verby there will be a PIL soon on u πŸ˜›

Little drops of water, little grains of sand
Make a mighty ocean and a pleasant land

  23. Though our differences seem insurmountable
    And the gap overwhelming,
    We search for the bridges
    On which we can meet,
But they will not be found
    Until we can tread outside
    Our places of comfort
    And beyond our familiar boundaries.

They stand in places of uncertainty
    And must be sought freely,
    Without conditions,
    The bridges called Compromise,
    Acceptance and Understanding.
These are the hardest to find,
And take the most strength to tread.

Sure u can make out tis s not my poem.. Read somewhere and sending u!!!
